Irvine’s Imagyn Sells Surgical Technology

Imagyn Medical Technologies Inc. in Irvine said Monday it completed the sale of its remaining line of minimally invasive surgery devices to ConMed Corp., a Utica, N.Y., maker of surgical tools, for about $34 million in stock.
The sale is part of Imagyn’s strategy of focusing on developing diagnostic and treatment devices for use in oncology and critical care.
