Despite 27 points from Darius Miles, the Clippers lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-97, in the Long Beach Summer Pro League Wednesday night at the Pyramid.
The loss was only the second in eight games for the Clippers, who dropped into a first-place tie at 6-2. Miles, who began Wednesday’s game averaging 26.3 points, also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Rookie power forward Zach Randolph led Portland with 38 points.
The Clippers will complete their summer league schedule this weekend when they play BC Kyiv on Friday at 5:15 p.m. and Canada on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
