Living Wage Proposal Advances in Marin

In a 3-2 vote, Marin County supervisors moved one step closer to adopting a living wage ordinance. They agreed to accept the recommendations of a citizens committee and move to adopt such a rule.
The board did not commit to a specific rate. Instead, they directed County Administrator Mark Riesenfeld to produce a plan and bring it back by Oct. 16.
