If Northridge defeats Eastern Washington tonight, the Matadors will host the six-team Big Sky Conference tournament March 8-10.
Northridge began selling tickets last week and more than 200 orders were filled the first day. About 250 tickets have been sold, said Mindy DeGroot, director of marketing for Northridge.
“It was huge the first day,” DeGroot said. “Then it obviously tapered off. People are holding off.”
Capacity at the Matadome is 1,600, although standing-room areas are being considered. Northridge had a season-high 1,850 two weeks ago against Northern Arizona.
Ticket are available by calling the Matador ticket office: (818) 677-2488. Passes are good for the same seat for all five games. Prices: General admission $75; Northridge students $55.
Tickets for individual games will not be sold except for the tournament final.
