MPTV Is Negotiating to Buy More Companies

Time-share marketer MPTV Inc. in Irvine said Monday it is in negotiations to buy several companies as part of a strategy to acquire profitable companies. It did not identify the target companies. MPTV, which owns the Lake Tropicana resort in Las Vegas, said it is focusing on luxury time-share properties to boost its asset base.
