Anaheim Esperanza 9, Laguna Beach 8--Jameson Burmeister scored with one minute to go in overtime to lift Esperanza in the Division II semifinal. Esperanza will meet Newport Beach Corona del Mar in Saturday’s final.
Whittier 8, South Pasadena 6--Stuart Johnson scored 12 seconds into overtime of the Division III semifinal for Whittier (23-6), which plays Whittier La Serna in the final.
Santa Barbara 10, Malibu 8--Craig Edelman scored three goals for second-seeded Santa Barbara (25-7), which advanced to the Division IV final against top-seeded Ventura.
Riverside Poly 15, Etiwanda 3--Eric Qualls scored five goals and Mike Looy scored four for Riverside Poly (29-3) in a Division V semifinal. Riverside Poly will meet Palm Desert on Saturday.
La Verne Bonita 8, Brea Olinda 7--Greg Perry’s two-meter goal with one second to play lifted Bonita into its fourth consecutive Division VI final.
