2 Arrested in Slaying of Newspaper Worker

Two men have been arrested in the slaying of a Newhall newspaper employee, authorities said.
Pacoima residents Leugardo Martinez, 46, and Rafael Hinojosa, 38, are suspected in the killing of 24-year-old Augustin Garcia of Santa Clarita, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Lendman said.
Garcia’s body was found Sunday afternoon in Santa Clarita. Earlier that day, he was seen being thrown into a van by three men outside the Signal newspaper offices, where he worked in the pressroom.
A third suspect is still being sought, Lendman said.
A motive for the slaying has not been determined, he said.
