Monday is Columbus Day. The following schedule will be observed:
* All county, state and federal offices will be closed.
* All city offices will be open, except those in Stanton.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* County libraries will be closed; city libraries will be open.
* Some banks and savings and loans will be open; check with your branch for details.
* Some public schools will be open, check with your school; community colleges, UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will be open.
* Mail will not be delivered; all post offices will be closed. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their regular schedule.
* Metrolink trains will run on the regular schedule.
