In boys’ water polo:
Corona del Mar wins--The Sea Kings, No. 2 in The Times’ rankings, scored two victories on the first day of the Cal State Invitational at San Jose Bellarmine High. Corona del Mar (17-2) defeated Clovis West, 16-3, in the first round and Soquel, 12-10, in the second.
