Forward George Lynch, sent from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Charlotte Hornets in the Derrick Coleman trade, will have foot surgery Thursday and will be sidelined two to three months.
Lynch hurt his left foot in May during the playoffs and was operated on during the off-season. He has missed the entire exhibition season and doctors recommended more surgery when they examined him following the trade.
Forward Eddie Robinson, the Chicago Bulls’ big free-agent acquisition, has a fractured left big toe and could be sidelined six to eight weeks.
Robinson isn’t sure when the injury occurred, though it bothered him in Friday’s exhibition finale.
