Still Finding the Gems

I have been a subscriber for more than 12 years and had all but given up on the Sunday magazine containing anything more than fuzzy “artsy” photos of strange clothes on not very attractive models. But lo and behold! There was a genuinely interesting and well-written article about car designer Freeman Thomas by Preston Lerner (“The Quest for Cool,” March 3)! I guess I’ll have to keep looking through the magazine--you never know when I might be surprised again.
