Head of Historic Cuban Stage to Talk

Stages Theatre Center will present a discussion with Miguel Canellas Sueiras, the director of Cuba’s Tomas Terry Theatre of Cienfuegos, on Saturday at 4 p.m. The event, at 1540 N. McCadden Place in Hollywood, is open to the public.
Poet and writer Sueiras will give an overview of the state of Cuban theater today and tell of his work of restoration and preservation of the 113-year-old Tomas Terry Theatre, which holds National Monument of Cuba status.
The event is free, but seating is limited and reservations are necessary.
