Cruelest Cut

I’d like to know whose bright idea it was to destroy a dozen mature, healthy shade trees at the intersection of Ventura and Sepulveda boulevards and replace them with 20-foot palm trees with all the aesthetic value of a row of telephone poles. This was an idiotic decision.
