Coin Toss Renders Bowl Unto Crouches

Re “New Dawn for Bowl Easter Service,” Jan. 26: All of Los Angeles should rejoice at the outcome of the coin flip for Easter sunrise services at the Hollywood Bowl. Paul and Jan Crouch are perfect to put on the show. They are the Barnum and Bailey of the Christian world. Jan is virtually made to order for Easter, with that massive mane of lavender hair (perfect color for Easter) and a painted face that tops any painted egg.

Shame on Los Angeles County for not being able to make a decision. Allowing an Orange County television ministry to take control of the Hollywood Bowl Easter sunrise service by “kissing off” the responsibility with a coin toss is not only irresponsible but stupid. Perhaps the voters of L.A. County should flip a coin to decide whom to vote for in the next elections.
