Second-Class Travelers

I enjoyed Karl Zimmermann’s article on traveling from Paris to southern France by train (“Two Rail Ways, Swift and Scenic,” June 23). But many readers would have enjoyed learning more about travel and accommodations options.
We will be traveling second class to Provence on the TGV this month. Zimmermann described the first-class accommodations without bothering to comment on second-class arrangements. Perhaps he could have taken a stroll into a second-class car and provided a description to the great unwashed.
