Cross-Cultural Project Will Be Focus of Talk

Focus on the Masters will continue its series of arts lectures at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Theatre in downtown Ventura with a talk by Lorraine Serena, founder of the Women Beyond Borders project.
Founded in 1992, Women Beyond Borders is a network of more than 700 artists, curators, critics and educators from around the world.
Serena, a visual artist based in Carpinteria, will discuss a cross-cultural project and its global exhibition of creative renderings based on a small wooden box.
The theater is at 1006 E. Main St. Tickets are $8, free to Focus on the Masters members.
