Melville Winery is so committed to Pinot Noir that is has planted 11 different clones on its Santa Ynez Valley estate. This bottling is just delicious: silken in texture, tasting of lush ripe cherries and plums with a scent of rose petals and raspberries. At less than $20, this is a terrific bargain for dedicated Pinot fans. A wine this graceful goes with just about anything, making it a perfect bottle to pour for Thanksgiving.
