Military’s Honorary Taps Goes Digital

The Pentagon, chronically short of musicians to play taps at military funerals, is going to test the use of a new “push button” bugle.
A digital audio device inserted into the bugle’s bell plays taps. The Pentagon calls it “indistinguishable” from a live bugler.
