More Tours to Cuba

I went to Cuba in February with Elderhostel. You didn’t mention it as a resource in “While Ban Is Debated, Americans Are Flocking to Cuba” (Travel Insider, Sept. 1). The group offers tours on art and architecture, ecological diversity and Cuban culture and history. Many universities also offer tours; groups from Stanford and UCLA were staying in our hotel. It’s an interesting country, and I recommend it to the curious traveler.

We have been running trips to Cuba for 30 years, and all are legal. We have been especially active in recent years in taking people from the Hollywood and arts communities to Cuba (www.cubaupdate.org and www.cubanartspace.net).
