Not all Song fliers sing a happy tune

“Flying the Frugal Skies Can Be Fun” [March 21] suffered from the “small sample” problem. One flight on an airline cannot tell much of a story.
I have flown Song several times nonstop to Tampa, Fla., and I have found it to be hit and miss, with the misses being dreadful experiences. Many of the planes have not been reconfigured, so there is no legroom, the seats are so narrow that three average-sized -- I’m 5 feet, 10 inches and 180 pounds -- people cannot sit without rubbing shoulders, and there are no TV sets or any entertainment and no pretty colors.
Until the planes match the ads, I’ll fly Song if I have to, but I’ll leave my legs at home.
