Car Hits, Kills O.C. Pedestrian

A Garden Grove woman died late Saturday after being hit by a car while crossing a street.
Karen Dorothy Kieva, 52, was struck in the intersection of Garden Grove Boulevard and Dale Street in Garden Grove about 9 p.m. She died at the scene.
The driver was not cited, although the accident remains under investigation, according to Cullen Ellingburgh, a spokesman for the Orange County coroner’s office.
