From Times Wire Reports
Police have ended an internal investigation into a home raid that was conducted because of an unusually high electricity bill, officials said.
The district attorney and a Superior Court judge found that the department had probable cause to search the home of Beryl and Dina Dagy, a letter from Police Chief Tom Zoll said.
His letter reviewed department procedures in the March 19 raid in which no drugs were found, despite the high bill, which sometimes indicates the use of lamps to grow marijuana indoors, police said.
