Accrediting officials have cleared Brooks Institute of Photography of a former registrar’s allegations of forgery and tampering with student records.
The team found no evidence that signatures on faculty evaluations “had been forged or fabricated in any way,” and student files showed “no evidence of tampering or falsification of student signatures” on admissions documents, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools said in a report.
Former registrar Cam Van Wingerden, who quit her job at Brooks last fall, filed a complaint to the council. The report did not detail the allegations.
