Workers in Pay Protest Enter President’s Ranch

Hundreds of protesters forced their way onto President Vicente Fox’s ranch about 185 miles northwest of Mexico City to demand restitution for Mexicans who worked in the United States during and after World War II.
The protest was led by workers who have been lobbying for years to get pay that was withheld from their checks and not returned to them. Fox did not appear, but protesters met with members of his family.
