The Pan Pacific San Francisco is offering a tax break in April. It will pay the 14% daily hotel tax on your room for stays April 1 to 20, subject to availability. Rates start at $169 a night.
The hotel, at 500 Post St., is a block from Union Square and rated four diamonds by AAA and four stars by Mobil. It has 329 rooms, a restaurant and bar and a fitness center. Ask for the “tax-free promotion” when you book the room. (800) 533-6465, www.panpacific.com.
