Brush Fire Near Norco Is Nearly Contained

A 200-acre brush fire that burned for more than a day in the Santa Ana River bottom near Norco was almost contained Tuesday, fire officials said.
More than 200 firefighters responded to the blaze on California Avenue and Grulla Court. No injuries were reported and no homes were in danger, said Riverside County Fire Capt. Rick Vogt. Investigators believe the fire was set, Vogt said.
