Re “Contractor Is Rebuked Again by Officials,” May 8: Should the Tutor-Saliba Corp. be eliminated from any future business with Los Angeles by virtue of the three strikes (and you’re out) law? It seems to me that Tutor-Saliba has been given more than enough time to get its act together.
There have been problems with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and now, twice in six months, with its construction of the park-and-ride site in Van Nuys for the Flyaway. How does it get away with city officials looking the other way and continuing to give it more city construction contracts?
