Corina Alarcon Gets Post on Police Panel

City Council members Tuesday unanimously confirmed Corina Alarcon to the Board of Police Commissioners.
Alarcon, 46, the ex-wife of mayoral candidate and state Sen. Richard Alarcon, is a longtime San Fernando Valley activist who has served on the city’s Building and Safety Commission and as president of the Fire Commission.
