From Times Staff Reports
The Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees voted Wednesday to force an eminent domain purchase of the downtown office building it has leased since 1993. The move comes after owners of the nine-story building at 770 Wilshire Blvd. declined the district’s $17.5-million offer and countered with a $20-million price.
The district leases the building for about $2 million a year.
