GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
* Rachel Lumsden, Brea Olinda: Recorded a school-record 38 kills in a 22-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-21 Century League win over Anaheim Canyon.
* Hillary Christensen, Orange El Modena: The freshman setter had 76 assists in a 25-22, 25-22, 18-25, 23-25, 15-9 upset of Villa Park, ranked seventh in Division II-AA.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
* Zachary White, Tesoro: Scored six goals in a 13-10 win over Irvine University, giving the Titans their first Pacific Coast League victory in their third year in the league.
* Damjan Dudic, Santa Ana Foothill: Had four goals and made four steals as Foothill defeated Newport Harbor, 9-8, in a crucial Sea View League game featuring two of the top three teams in Division I. Alex Lawrence had six saves for Foothill.
* Chris Flores, Montebello: Scored seven goals for the Oilers, ranked No. 1 in Division III, in their 15-8 nonleague victory over Bonita, ranked first in Division VI.
* Matt Lewis, Simi Valley Royal: Made 13 saves to lead the Highlanders, No. 2 in Division IV, to a 14-9 road victory over Agoura, ranked fifth in Division IV.
* Jordan Thompson, La Canada: Scored his eighth goal of the game with 1:30 remaining to give La Canada, ranked No. 3 in Division III, a 16-15 victory over Anaheim Servite, ranked third in Division II.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
* Jill Damien, Corona del Mar: Swept her three matches at the No. 1 singles by scores of 6-3, 6-3 and 6-1 in an 11-7 nonleague win over Dana Hills.
* Miriea Granzer, Carpinteria Cate: In a battle of ranked Division IV teams, she won her three singles matches in leading the fifth-ranked Rams to an 11-7 win over third-ranked Ojai Villanova Prep.
GIRLS’ GOLF
* Emily Madison, Redlands East Valley: Shot an even-par 65 on the Jess Ranch Golf Course in Apple Valley to lead the Wildcats in a five-team nonleague meet.
* Joy Trotter, Pomona Catholic: Carded an even-par 36 at Diamond Bar Country Club to earn medalist honors in the Pacers’ loss to Diamond Bar.
* Darlene Mognot, North Hills Monroe: Shot a one-over 32 at Sylmar’s El Cariso Golf Course in leading the Vikings to a victory over Chatsworth.
