From Times Wire Reports
A Paris appeals court upheld the acquittals of three photographers accused of invasion of privacy after they took pictures of Britain’s Princess Diana and boyfriend Dodi Fayed at the scene of their fatal 1997 crash.
Jacques Langevin, Christian Martinez and Fabrice Chassery were acquitted in November. Fayed’s father, Egyptian-born billionaire Mohammed Fayed, filed the appeal that was rejected and said afterward that he planned to appeal again, to France’s highest court.
The three men’s photos were confiscated and not published.
