5-second delay for TV football

ABC said it will use a five-second delay during “Monday Night Football” games to avoid an incident like the exposure of Janet Jackson’s breast during CBS’ Super Bowl telecast in February.
“It’s a precaution because of what happened with Janet Jackson,” Fred Gaudelli, producer of “Monday Night Football,” said in a telephone interview.
