Man Kills Owner of Liquor Store in Holdup

Los Angeles police searched Friday for a man who shot and killed the owner of a liquor store during a holdup.
Detectives said the bearded man walked into Jaby’s Liquors in the 5100 block of Colfax Avenue at 5144 Colfax Ave. about 9 p.m. Wednesday and shot Gurmik Sandhu. The killer, thought to be in his 30s, then ran from the store.
