* Daniel Rose and Michael Brady, Santa Margarita: Rose hit a home run and scored both runs, and Brady (6-1) pitched his second shutout of the season, striking out eight and walking one in a four-hitter, as the visiting Eagles, ranked No. 24 in the Southland by The Times, upset top-ranked La Puente Bishop Amat, 2-0.
* Jose Facio, Whittier: Hit a career-best three home runs as the visiting Cardinals beat Pico Rivera El Rancho, 11-7.
* David Bromberg, Palisades: Was four for four with a two-run home run, five runs batted in and four runs scored as visiting Palisades beat L.A. Hamilton, 14-1.
* Mitch Levier, Whittier California: Went three for three with three runs batted in and two stolen bases and also pitched a complete game in the Condors’ 14-2, five-inning victory over Whittier Pioneer.

* Brittney Barger, Corona: Barger (14-0) threw a three-hitter and also singled home the winning run for the top-ranked Panthers in a 2-1 victory over Moreno Valley Valley View.
* Brianna Barth, West Hills Chaminade: Pitched a perfect game as the host Eagles beat Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 3-0.

BOYS’ TENNIS
* Ryan Thacher and Hiro Kobayashi, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake: The doubles team beat Santa Barbara’s Grant Robertson and Chris Ho, who came in with a 77-0 career record playing together, as the Wolverines, unbeaten in 10 matches and ranked No. 1 in the Division I coaches’ poll, remained undefeated by beating the previously undefeated and second-ranked Dons, 13-5.
* Nuntat Vachirajongkol, Paramount: Improved to 51-0 this season by sweeping at No. 1 singles without losing a game as the host Pirates, ranked No. 6 in the Division IV coaches’ poll, beat No. 5 Cerritos Gahr.
