Artivist Film Fest opens in Hollywood

The second annual Artivist Film Festival, dedicated to the topics of human rights, children’s advocacy, animal rights and environmental preservation, will be held Wednesday through April 24 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
More than 70 feature-length and short films will be shown, including “Emmanuel’s Gift,” narrated by Oprah Winfrey, and “Earthlings,” narrated by Joaquin Phoenix.
