1,100 Pounds of Illegal Wildlife Products Seized

Ethiopian authorities have seized more than 1,100 pounds of illegal ivory, stuffed animals and ostrich eggs in raids on more than 60 shops in the capital, Addis Ababa, police said.
They said they had just finished assessing the haul, which equaled a decade of seizures at the international airport.
The shop owners could face a $550 fine and two years in jail.
