Galaxy’s Swoon Goes Unappreciated

Over the last 12 months, we have watched the Galaxy’s dismal road record, marked by frequent lack of focus.
This reminds me of the collapse of the U.S. national team during the 1998 World Cup.
What do they have in common?

Just like always, the Galaxy’s obvious shortcomings are blamed on player personnel when, in fact, it is lackluster coaching that is the root of the problem.
What this team needs, much more than better players, is a coach who earns respect, not a coach who is as amateurish as Mr. Sampson.
When a team wins early in a season and begins to lose regularly as the season progresses, only one thing makes sense. Lack of leadership!
