Detroit Shooting Spree Ends With Three Dead

A man killed his mother and a co-worker and seriously wounded a teenage niece in an early morning shooting spree that ended when he committed suicide, Detroit police said.
There was no information on a motive in any of the shootings. Police spokesman James Tate said family members told police that the shooter, Jamal Samuels, 22, had “mental issues.”
