Update -- Stanford has won 32 of its last 34 games in Maples Pavilion and last season the Cardinal beat UCLA, 67-52, the second-worst loss for the Bruins in Maples. When Stanford beat the Bruins last month in Pauley Pavilion, Cardinal guard Dan Grunfeld, who recently had season-ending knee surgery, had 25 points. Matt Haryasz, a 6-foot-11 forward, and Rob Little, a 6-10 center, combined for 26 points and 15 rebounds and dominated inside. In Stanford’s last 10 games, Little has averaged 8.1 rebounds and Haryasz has averaged 16.5 points and 10.9 rebounds. Dijon Thompson, who was held to six points last month, said he has something to prove. “I need to do better,” Thompson said.
