DeLay and the Marianas
Concerning the May 6 story about the shenanigans of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay’s (R-Texas) associates in the Marianas, what more is needed to verify the greedy hands of DeLay and his personal lobbyist on everything they touch. I served on Guam in World War II. These are a proud and gentle people. How sad that their commonwealth is so treated by U.S. politicians. The only thing “common” is their less-than-minimum wage, while the “wealth” goes to the favored clothing manufacturers and the associates of DeLay.
