Grower Sues California Pistachio Commission

A Central Valley grower sued the California Pistachio Commission over paying for ad campaigns and other programs that the grower says it opposed.
In the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court, Paramount Farms of Lost Hills accused the commission of positioning pistachios as a commodity when it should have marketed the nuts to stimulate demand year-round.
