2004 Sineann Gewurztraminer Celilo Vineyard
- Share via
I’m always on the lookout for whites to go with Asian food, and this week I struck gold with this lightly floral Gewurztraminer from Sineann’s Celilo Vineyard in Oregon. More floral than spicy, it has a perky acidity and lovely balance. I like the perfume of pears and something very like kiwi too. It’s interesting enough to savor as an aperitif, but where it really shines is with food -- stir-fried prawns, fragrant curries, satays and noodle dishes.
