Pilot Injured in Crash of Edison Chopper

A Southern California Edison helicopter crashed in the San Bernardino National Forest on Wednesday morning, leaving a male pilot with a broken leg and head injuries that were not life-threatening, authorities said.
The pilot was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center after the 10:16 a.m. crash in the Snow Drift area of Snow Valley near Highway 18, said San Bernardino County Fire spokeswoman Tracey Martinez. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
