Racial disparity in tipping

WOW! This is one survey I would have paid to be in [“Study Shows Blacks Tip Less -- but They May Have Good Reason,” Travel Insider, March 26].
I read this article with interest because I frequently go to trendy upscale restaurants and I never ever tip less than 20%. If I use the service of a sommelier, I’ll tip a little more. I’m black. For a tip of less than 20%, I wouldn’t wait on you either.
I’ve gone to the best restaurants in town: Lucques, AOC, Campanile. I have gotten the best of service from these restaurants.
