‘Star’ 98.7 names new personalities

After a four-month absence of radio personalities except on its morning drive-time show, KYSR-FM (“Star” 98.7) will unveil a new lineup of midday, afternoon and evening disc jockeys Monday.
Lisa Foxx, who used to air on the station weekdays from 7 p.m. to midnight, will move to the midday spot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

KYSR-FM: A Quick Takes item in Saturday’s Calendar section said that the weekday deejay lineup at KYSR-FM (98.7) would include Richard Blade from 3 to 7 p.m. and Tom Mitchell from 7 p.m. to midnight. Mitchell has the 3-to-7 shift and Blade the 7-to-midnight shift.
Meanwhile, Richard Blade, a 20-year veteran of Southern California radio, will host from 3 to 7 p.m. Newcomer Tom Mitchell, who has worked at stations in Boston, Las Vegas and New Orleans, will take over the 7 p.m. to midnight slot.
