Update -- Sparks Coach Joe Bryant wouldn’t mind a little deja vu tonight. His first game last season as head coach was against the Shock on Aug. 19, which the Sparks won, 74-67. This season, Los Angeles opened on the road for six games but was unable to take full advantage of a relatively soft schedule and settled for a split. Now the Sparks can look forward to a six-game homestand, which includes Connecticut, Houston and Sacramento. The Sparks should get a boost with the return of Chamique Holdsclaw from a personal absence.
