Re “GOP Removes Key Iraq Provision From Bill,” June 10
The idea of no permanent bases in Iraq passed by a voice vote in both houses, to be added to the military funding bill. It was removed “by Republican staffers” in committee. On what grounds was this removed after it was approved? Who, by name, were those pesky staffers?
