March Inventories Rise Less Than Forecast

From Reuters

Wholesale inventories rose less than expected in March. Inventories increased 0.2%, with a rise in automotive and drug stocks partly offset by a decline in stocks of petroleum and computer equipment, the Commerce Department said.

Economists had forecast an increase of 0.5%.

Although the number was below expectations, economists said it was not likely to have much effect on their final estimates for first-quarter growth.
