An 18-year-old Ladera Ranch woman was killed Tuesday when the Porsche she was driving spun out of control on the 241 toll road after clipping another car at a high rate of speed, authorities said.
The woman’s name was not released pending notification of relatives.
The accident occurred about 1:45 p.m. when the Porsche, going more than 100 mph just south of Alton Parkway, changed lanes, clipped the rear end of a gray Honda going the same direction and careened across several lanes into a toll plaza building.
The Honda’s driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation, authorities said.
