On Losing a Best Friend

I was sorry to see Dan Neil’s tongue-in-cheek column about the Rainbow Bridge (“All Dogs . . . “ 800 Words, Oct. 22). I believe I will see my cats there. The founder of the Rainbow Bridge website has helped many of us get through the grief of losing a pet.
Losing a pet is like losing a family member--no more, no less. It is not a joke.
